Maeglin, son of Eol.

Note that there is some doubt about whether Eol was of the Sindar or not. It is possible that he was of the Tatyar Avari, which would make Maeglin entirely Second Clan rather than half and half. But he's included for completeness' sake.

Celeborn's Banner

Both Celeborn and Galadriel were missed out when Tolkien designed heraldic devices for the First Age Elves, so I have designed one in a sort of Tolkienesque style for Celeborn. This is the banner refered to in 'Between Two Worlds' and 'Oak and Willow'.

  • The picture labled as Thranduil was intended by the artist to be Legolas, but he just looks more like Thranduil to me. Equally, the "Real Elf" picture was intended to be either Glorfindel or Legolas, but looks like Celeborn to me.
Elladan or Elrohir is from a perfume advert in a magazine ;)

I'm still on the hunt for a better picture of Galadhon. Ideally he should be silver haired and look a bit like Elmo and Celeborn. If anyone can recommend any, please do!
